Who is responsible

Serino IT is a sole proprietorship, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42051536 (VAT ID NL005457482B43). Serino IT decides which data this website processes and for what purpose.

What data I process, and why

This website has one form: the contact form. If you fill it in, I only process the details you enter yourself, in order to read and reply to your message:

• Name, so I know who I am talking to.
• Email address, so I can reply to you.
• Phone number (optional), so I can respond to your message by phone.
• Company name (optional), as context for your question.
• Your message itself, telling me what you need help with.

When you submit the form, your IP address is processed briefly to prevent misuse of the form (spam). This is temporary and is not kept as a separate record.

The website does not store your message in a database. It is only delivered as an email.

The basis for this is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you send a message because you want an answer, and answering means I need what you filled in. I ask for nothing beyond that. The same interest applies to the limited, aggregated measurement I use to keep the website usable and technically healthy.

If you answer the five questions and choose to send the outcome along, your answers and that result are part of the message I receive. You see them on the form before you send and one click removes them again. Skip the questions, or remove them, and none of it is sent.

Limited usage and performance measurement

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure in aggregate which pages are visited and how quickly and reliably they load. They do not use cookies. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, form text and diagnosis answers are never sent as analytics data.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies. The limited usage and performance measurement works without cookies and does not follow you across other websites. Your language choice is in the page address and does not need to be stored. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Services I use

To send and receive your message I rely on a few external services. These are processors that handle this data on behalf of Serino IT:

• Resend sends the email from the website. On the current service, Resend retains email and log data for 30 days while the account is active.
• Vercel hosts the website, processes technical data such as your IP address for that purpose and provides the cookieless, aggregated usage and performance measurement.
• Google Workspace is the mailbox where your message arrives and is stored.

Your data is not sold and not passed on to others for advertising.

Processing outside the EU

Resend, Vercel and Google are American companies, so your data may be processed outside the EU. That is allowed only with safeguards, and those are named in their own terms: Resend relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Vercel relies on the same Standard Contractual Clauses, and Google is certified under the Data Privacy Framework and offers Standard Contractual Clauses alongside it.

How long data is kept

I keep your message for as long as needed to handle it, and delete it afterwards, no later than 24 months after. Resend retains email and log data for 30 days on the current service. Technical logs and backups at Vercel and Google follow their contractual deletion cycles. Aggregated analytics contain no form content.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data I hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You may also ask me to restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@serino-it.com and I will handle it as soon as possible.

Do you disagree with how Serino IT handles your data? You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
