frequently asked questions
Clarity before the work begins.
The exact approach is always set out in the quotation. These are the principles that apply to every conversation and investigation.
What kind of work can I bring to Serino IT?
A bounded technical question or a new opportunity where systems, data and people need to work together. This may involve configuration, integrations, security, internal software or applied AI. The first step is to establish whether custom work is genuinely the right solution.
Do you work with our own IT team or supplier?
Yes. I establish responsibilities, access and technical boundaries in advance and work with the people who manage the existing environment. I do not take over management or decisions without a clear agreement.
How do you handle AI and our data?
Applied AI is treated as part of a software system. Its purpose, available data, access rights, security, human oversight and management are defined first. Company data is not automatically sent to an external model.
Who owns the source code and documentation?
The quotation specifies what is transferred. Source code, documentation and required access are delivered under that agreement. Maintenance remains optional, so you are not technically locked into Serino IT.
How are scope and price determined?
The current situation and intended outcome are investigated first. The quotation then records the scope, price, delivery point and acceptance criterion. A change outside that scope is discussed separately before work continues.
What does the thirty-day guarantee cover?
If you are dissatisfied within thirty days after delivery, the project payment including the advance is refunded without requiring an explanation. Custom software is then removed; configuration in your own systems remains. Licences, hosting, hardware and maintenance already delivered are excluded. The exact consequences are written into the quotation in advance.
